I had a solid stay at Hotel Imlauer Wien. The location was super convenient, really close to public transport and the city center. While my room was clean and comfortable, I did face some hiccups with the service, particularly not receiving my meal vouchers on time. Overall, it was a decent experience, but there are areas that could use some improvement.

My room was clean and spacious, with comfy beds. The lighting was nice, creating a relaxing vibe. However, there were some cleanliness issues like used glasses not being replaced during my stay.
Service

Staff were generally friendly and helpful, but I experienced delays with my meal vouchers. I felt that my check-out experience lacked engagement, as no one asked about my stay.

The hotel is in a quiet residential area, just a short walk to the city center, making it super convenient for exploring Vienna. Plus, there are two underground stations nearby.

The breakfast options were decent, though I noticed a lack of fresh fruit. I didn’t end up trying the breakfast since it felt pricey, but I found plenty of local cafes nearby.
Facilities

The common areas were inviting, and I appreciated having tea and coffee-making facilities in my room. However, the issues with the sauna and other amenities were a bit disappointing.

The rooms were mostly clean and modern, offering a comfortable stay, though I found the lighting a bit dim in my room. The breakfast had a diverse selection, but some aspects didn’t meet my expectations.

I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Imlauer Wien. The location was incredibly convenient for exploring the city, and the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms contributed to my overall satisfaction. However, on my last night, I struggled to get sleep due to nearby construction work, which was an unfortunate inconvenience. Still, I'd definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit to Vienna.

The room was clean and modern, with comfortable beds that ensured restful nights, though the bed was a bit hard for my taste. The spacious bathroom was a nice touch too.
Service

The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, offering great advice on local attractions and being accommodating with requests. However, there were some moments when a few staff members were not as kind as I had hoped.

The location was fantastic—only a few minutes from the nearest train station and close to major attractions like St. Stephen's Cathedral. It made it easy for me to navigate the city, even though the area got quite quiet at night.
Dining

6.2/10

My stay at Hotel Imlauer Wien was a mix of comfort and frustration. While I appreciated the clean and modern accommodations, I was disappointed by the long wait at check-in and the €19.50 breakfast cost, which felt excessive. The room itself was nice, with a comfortable bed, but the smoking in the courtyard really affected my experience. Overall, it had its highs and lows.

Rooms
6.0
The room was modern and clean, but it had a major downside. I faced a courtyard where people smoked, which made it noisy and unpleasant at times. Without proper air conditioning, it got stuffy inside.
Service
6.0
The staff were friendly and accommodating, although I felt let down by the check-in experience. Waiting over 40 minutes after arriving was frustrating, especially after a long day of travel.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located near public transport and popular attractions, which made exploring Vienna easy. However, I did find the surrounding area lacked dining options.
Dining

Breakfast options were available, but I couldn't justify the €19.50 price tag for what was offered. I didn't get to try anything from the bar or restaurant due to a lack of information on check-in.
Facilities

The common areas looked inviting, and I appreciated the overall cleanliness. Even though I didn't use the gym, it seemed well-maintained, which added a nice touch to the facilities.
